All fine, but no fridge

The location couldn't have been better, as it was

close to major attractions yet in a quieter part of the city. Our stay was pleasant with spacious and clean rooms, but we did notice some noise at night from other guests. Overall, it was a great experience.

Great location and comfortable stay!

I loved the central location, which made it easy to explore Madrid on foot. The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds that ensured a good night's sleep. The staff was very accommodating, even letting us freshen up before check-in. However, the street noise in the early morning could be a bit disruptive.

we had an amazing experience at hostal aguilar. the location was fantastic, just a stone's throw from a theater showcasing the amazing carmen bizet ballet flamenco show. our room was spacious, with very comfortable beds. the shower was also a highlight! the staff exceeded our expectations, helping us freshen up when we arrived early.

Clean twin room, central location, spacious enough for our family with children to feel comfortable, and easy access to a nearby metro station for further exploration.

The room was clean and comfortable, but the walls were too thin for sleep.

Loved the spacious room, great shower, and perfect location. It felt like a home away from home.

However, there were a few hiccups. The reception is on the second floor, bringing a fair share of noise from visitors and street traffic, which might bother lighter sleepers. In addition, the walls in our room felt paper-thin. we could hear neighboring conversations and even snoring, which made it tough to get a good night's sleep. While the bathroom was functional, the absence of a fridge or coffee-making facilities in the room was disappointing, as was the lack of vending options for late-night snacks. Lastly, the view from our window was just a dull courtyard, not what you’d expect for the price.
